Raised on a family farm in Michigan, Charlotte Whitney is the author of historical fiction set in the rural Midwest. A Tiny Piece of Blue, (She Writes Press, February 2025 ) follows a homeless teenager during the Great Depression as she struggles to survive. The Unveiling of Polly Forrest, a historical mystery received several writing awards and was preceded by Threads A Depression-Era Tale. Annoyed at the fact she was a rotten Upwords player (her favorite word game) she penned How to Win at Upwords. Charlotte lives in Arizona with her husband and two misbehaving, non-award winning dogs.
