Eileen Pieczonka’s passion for writing her Blueberry Bear series was influenced by her late therapy dog, Jamie. Follow Blueberry Bear, a rambunctious puppy named Bear, on her journey filled with friendship, trust, courage, and acceptance.
Beyond being a talented author, Eileen is the founder of Loving Literacy Authors and a literacy advocate with her therapy dogs. Their community involvement consists of volunteering for the Chandler Police Department, Pawsitve Friendships, and hospice. She also volunteers for Tommy Two Shoes Literacy Project for Children, board member for the Artists of the Superstitions; and she supports children’s and animal rescue organizations.
