Kristen is an award-winning science fiction and fantasy author who loves outer space, dragons, and stories that include at least one of those things. When not writing, she can be found drawing and painting, designing and crafting handmade stuffed animals, and trying to play video games while her cat paws at the screen. She grew up in New Jersey and lived in Chicago for six years before moving to Arizona. Formerly a writer for a benefits administration company, and later Creative Director at that same company, she left the corporate world to pursue art and writing full time.
