A native of Iran, Nahid came to the US before the 1979 Islamic Revolution to attend college. After obtaining a B.A. and an M.B.A. from Lehigh University, she had a successful career in Information Technology, authored four technology books, hundreds of articles, and served as a columnist for two magazines.
The Ruby Tear Catcher is a vivid portrayal of life in Iran before and after the Revolution, with a raw and emotional depiction of the oppression inflicted on women under Islamic rule.
Fluent in English, French, and Farsi, she writes about the turmoil in Iran.
