Bart Ambrose traded Arizona cotton fields for literature, music, and a self-taught guitar. After Arizona State University, he spent years working as a natural resource conservationist across the American West and Pacific Basin — adventures that fuel his historical Arizona fiction, including The Deputy Sean O’Conner Trilogy and Cactizonians’ Treasure. Along the way, he wrote and played music in many bands in Arizona, California, and Nashville, chronicled in his memoir Guitar Journey. When not writing, Bart creates southwestern haiku, crafts songs, and hunts the perfect chili relleno. He calls Tucson home.
