Benny Aguirre is the author of Captain Pegleg Willie and Captain Pegleg Willie II. I am involved in two re-enactment groups. My character is a pirate known as Captain Gato Bajau. Once, while at a park and swap, I came across a large plush pirate parrot I purchased and named Pegleg Willie. I started taking him to both re-enactment events and fandom conventions, where people started interacting with him. I decided to gather a crew, bought plush pirate parrots, and named his ship “Birds Of Prey,” which led to stories and these books. Enjoy their adventures.
