Laurie Fagen is a long-time “writer by habit” who has written for radio and television news, corporate video, films and documentaries, magazines and newspapers, musical stage productions, murder mystery plays and now crime fiction.

An honorable mention in an Alfred Hitchcock short story contest and a lifelong love of reading whodunits led to multiple published anthology short stories and ultimately her debut crime fiction novel, “Fade Out,” along with a prequel novella, “Equalizer.” They are part of her series “Behind the Mic Mysteries” which includes “Dead Air” and “Bleeder,” available in e-book, print and audiobooks, which includes Fagen’s narration with professional actors, sound effects and original music. She’s finalizing “Raw Image,” first story in a new series, “Behind the Lens Mysteries,” and just launched “Murder in the Air Mystery Theatre” podcast.
