A native of Iran, Nahid came to the US prior to the 1979 Islamic Revolution. She has authored four technology books, hundreds of articles, and was a columnist for two magazines. THE RUBY TEAR CATCHER is a raw and emotional depiction of oppression of women, with a vivid protryal of life in Iran before and after the Revolution.
Nahid is completing the second novel in the trilogy, covering the 2009 Green Movement’s fight for democracy and equal rights. The final novel will focus on uprisings following the death of Mahsa Amini in 2022, killed for non-compliance with the hijab.
