Nancy Kasten was born and raised in Kingston, Ontario, Canada and presently lives with her husband in Sun City West, Arizona. Having retired from her career teaching high school English and drama in Wawa, Ontario, she is now pursuing her second love, writing.
Her first book, It Happened in Cassidy, Stories of a Small Town, published in 2020, is a collection of stories set in the 1950’s and tell of the trials and triumphs of individual characters living in a small town.
Journeys into Cassidy, Stories of a Small Town, her second book, was just recently published. Continuing into the 50’s, it is a new set of stories about those who come from various places to make their home in a small town.
Nancy enjoys the life that Sun City West has to offer. When she’s not golfing, attending tai chi class and dancing up a storm in jazzercise, she’s writing more stories about the good, decent folk who live in Cassidy.
