Pam Sievers will always consider herself a true Midwesterner, raised in rural southwest Wisconsin before moving to Michigan as a young adult. After relocating to Sun City West, Arizona in 2019, she can often be found exercising in one of the year-round pools, creating quilts through her quilt club, hiking nearby trails, or exploring the southwest.

Sievers began writing in 2006 after a garage sale she had with a friend. It was such a humorous experience, she immediately penned her first essay, Garage Sale Guerillas, and began writing essays about the life that surrounded her. Upon retirement as a Girl Scout CEO, she began studying the art of writing by reading and attending numerous conferences including the Erma Bombeck Writing Workshop and the Midwest Writers Workshop which led to the development of a personal blog, My Patchwork Journey.
