I was born in Weehawken, NJ, and raised in Wayne, NJ, where I lived a “Leave it to Beaver” childhood in the small town of Wayne, and I have fond memories of growing up there. At ten, my family moved to Cleveland, Ohio

The U.S. Air Force was my ticket to the world. Two years in Alaska and Greenland. After leaving the military in California, I traveled the country. I held down several interesting jobs, from security guard to substitute schoolteacher. I acquired my B.A. degree in history and spent my free time writing short stories for fun.

 My travels ended in 1975 when I met Gayle. It was love at first sight. A month later, we were married, and 47 years later, we’re still together.
