Born in Prescott, Arizona, Sally has never lived more than an hour’s drive from her home town. She was raised on ranches in Yavapai County and has continued to serve the livestock community through the years. She’s been a 4H leader, secretary to the Arizona Cowpuncher’s Reunion, and helped produce the Arizona Cowboy Poets Gathering in Prescott for thirty years. She’s been recipient of a Women Writing the West award twice, Western Writers of America for a romance novel, New Mexico/Arizona Book Awards several times, and last year won two Will Rogers Medallion awards. She makes her home in Chino Valley with her husband, Pat, and enjoys being with all of her five (soon to be six) great-grand-children.
